Counselling & Hypnotherapy
Life can feel overwhelming at times — whether through anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, trauma, loss, or simply a sense of being stuck. Counselling and hypnotherapy provide a safe, supportive space to pause, reflect, and begin to untangle what feels heavy. Together, we’ll explore both the conscious patterns shaping your daily life and the deeper subconscious layers that may be holding you back. This process is designed to help you build resilience, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity and ease.
My Approach
I am an integrative counsellor and hypnotherapist, which means I draw on a range of methods depending on what you need. This can include:
-
Cognitive approaches (exploring thoughts, beliefs, and patterns)
-
Somatic work (connecting with the body and nervous system)
-
Parts work (understanding and integrating the different aspects of yourself)
-
Hypnotherapy (gentle guided work with the subconscious for deeper healing and change)
Together, these approaches create a flexible and supportive framework for growth.
What People Often Come For.
People seek counselling for many reasons, and every story is unique. Some of the most common areas I work with include:
-
Anxiety and overwhelm
-
Stress and burnout
-
Self-esteem and confidence
-
Trauma and loss
-
Relationship challenges
-
Life transitions and loss of direction
-
Building resilience and emotional regulation
Whether you’re navigating something painful or seeking to build stronger foundations for the future, therapy can help you move forward with greater clarity and strength.
Working with Archetypal Maps.
In addition to traditional therapy, I sometimes draw on astrology, Human Design, and tarot. I don’t use these for prediction or divination — but as symbolic maps that can highlight aspects of your experience that might otherwise stay hidden.
If you’re interested, we can integrate insights from these systems into your therapy, using them as doorways into deeper understanding and self-reflection. If you’ve had a reading with me, therapy can also be a space to work with and integrate what came up.
What to Expect
Each session lasts approx. 50 minutes and takes place online via Zoom.
The fee is £65 per session.
You’ll receive a secure link on the day of your appointment, and all sessions are kept completely confidential. I recommend using a private, quiet space where you can feel at ease and won’t be disturbed. A laptop or tablet gives the best screen-sharing experience if we decide to use visual tools. A stable internet connection is important.
It’s completely normal to feel nervous before starting therapy — we’ll go at your pace, and you’re free to bring as much or as little as feels comfortable.
In our time together, you can expect:
-
A safe, non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts and feelings.
-
Gentle guidance to uncover repeating patterns or inner conflicts.
-
Support to release old ways of coping that no longer serve you.
-
Somatic approaches to regulate your nervous system.
-
Hypnotherapy, where helpful, to shift deeper subconscious patterns. (Always collaborative — you remain in control throughout.)
The pace is always guided by what feels safe and supportive for you. Some sessions will feel like untangling and releasing; others like discovering new insight or clarity.
Therapy is not about quick fixes. It’s about creating a foundation where real growth, transformation, and fulfilment can emerge. Over time, this process can help you:
-
Build resilience and self-regulation.
-
Understand yourself more deeply.
-
Heal old wounds and integrate your experiences.
-
Move forward with greater clarity, purpose, and confidence.
Before You Book
To make sure therapy is the right support for you, I ask that you email me first before booking a session. Please include:
-
A short description of your current situation.
-
What you’re hoping to gain from therapy.
This helps me understand your needs and ensure that my approach is the best fit. If I feel another type of support would serve you better, I’ll let you know and, if possible, point you in the right direction.
Once we’ve agreed to work together, I’ll send you the booking and payment details. Sessions are confirmed once payment is received.
Please note:
-
Sessions are for adults 18+ only.
-
Cancellations are non-refundable, but you may reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice.
-
A stable internet connection is required for online sessions.
-
Therapy is an open-ended process — there’s no fixed number of sessions you must commit to. We’ll work together for as long as it feels supportive and beneficial for you.
If you’re unsure whether this is right for you, feel free to email me with your questions. I’m happy to guide you through the next step.
Your Unique Journey with Me.
Every session is a reflection of your individual needs, as there's no one-size-fits-all solution in this process. I bring to our work a diverse toolkit of modalities and approaches, including embodied and somatic, cognitive approaches, consciousness coaching and IFS (working with parts) perspective.
Throughout our journey together, you'll not only discover more about yourself but also acquire valuable coping strategies to navigate life's challenges. This journey will gently guide you toward becoming a stronger and more resilient you. From this point, you'll be well-equipped to embrace a life that's not just happy and fulfilled, but also beautifully balanced.
Hypnotherapy can take on many definitions, each deeply personal to the individual. Some see it as a journey of self-hypnosis, where one willingly grants permission and follows the path set before them. For others, it's akin to a guided meditation or meditation with a specific destination in mind. To me, hypnotherapy embodies the fusion of relaxation, visualisation, and the profound connection between mind and body.
Hypnosis itself is a natural state of mind we often slip into without even realising it. It envelops us when we're lost in a movie's storyline, immersed in the pages of a captivating book, or even when we follow the same familiar route while driving. In this state, our brain waves shift, our breath deepens, muscles release tension, and our subconscious mind eagerly embraces fresh suggestions and narratives. It's during these moments that we tap into various facets of ourselves, opening doors to exploration, self-discovery, and healing.
As we align with our whole, accepted selves, we unlock a wellspring of wisdom deep within, guiding us toward transformation. So, I invite you to ponder: What change do you wish to experience for yourself?
Unlocking the Power of Hypnotherapy.
Embracing the Wisdom of Embodiment.
In our fast-paced world, it's become increasingly common for people to unintentionally drift away from their own bodies. The relentless hustle of daily life, unceasing demands, and the ceaseless chatter of our thoughts can make this disconnection all too easy. Yet, our bodies hold the key to our inner wisdom, offering a sanctuary for regulating our nervous systems, restoring balance, and finding serenity and stability.
Embarking on an embodied journey means rekindling your connection with your body. It commences with building an awareness of how your body experiences reality, establishing a safe anchor, and gently coaxing stagnant energy to flow through both your physical being and your nervous system. Your unique path to healing and growth resides within, and there is no singular formula to unlock it. This transformative process teaches you how to access your inner resources by embracing your internal embodied journey.
The underlying goal is to cultivate a profound connection and heightened self-awareness, foster trust, and nurture an inner compass to navigate through challenging experiences. The result? You emerge as a more empowered, serene, and free version of yourself.
In an embodied session, you may encounter:
-
Grounding and anchoring within your own body.
-
A transformational journey through sensations and emotions like anxiety, anger, grief, and shame.
-
Guidance in managing overwhelming emotions.
-
The use of movement and creative imagination to release or invoke desired states, such as confidence, empowerment, and calm.
